Web sites. They have been around since the early 90's, and is still a popular way to market your products or ideas.
Direct Mail, has been around for as long as I can remember. It can be a postcard, long sales letter, brochure, etc..
Banner ads. I really don't know much about it, or know how to use it, but you see them all the time. More about this later!
Infomercials. Great for small business to increase sales, and gain market shares, and a great way to show your product to thousands and thousands of people at a time.
Commercials. We all know commercials specially during the Super Bowl. Half the time I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials.
SEO, or search engine optimization. One of the best company that teaches SEO is Perry Marshall. I highly recommend him.
Pay Per Click. You see them all the time on the sides of search engines like google.

Web 2.0 sites, or social networking sites.
